God’s Limitless Power at Work in Us

Blessings, bless Ephesians 3:20 (ESV)

Beyond Imagination: Trusting God’s Abundant Ability

In moments of doubt, when our prayers feel small or our dreams seem out of reach, it’s easy to forget just how powerful God truly is. The apostle Paul reminds us that God operates on a scale far beyond our limited imagination. Let’s dive into a verse that reignites our faith in God’s extraordinary ability.

Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us,

Ephesians 3:20 (ESV)

This verse from Paul’s letter to the Ephesians is a powerful reminder of who God is. He isn’t just able to meet our needs He is able to exceed them abundantly. Think about that. The things we pray for, dream about, or silently hope for God can do even more than that. Not just a little more. Far more abundantly.

What’s even more astonishing is the source of this power. Paul says it’s “according to the power at work within us.” That same divine power that raised Jesus from the dead (Ephesians 1:19–20) is active in every believer. This means we are not powerless; we are vessels of God’s power, and He works through us to accomplish things far beyond our ability.

This verse challenges us to stretch our faith. Are your prayers too small? Are your dreams boxed in by fear or past disappointment? God invites us to think bigger, believe deeper, and pray with bold confidence. His resources are unlimited, His plans are perfect, and His timing is divine.

So, whatever you’re facing today whether it’s a mountain too tall or a situation that feels hopeless remember that God’s power isn’t limited by your expectations. Trust that He is already working behind the scenes, doing more than you could ever imagine.
